Kelly Ann Scherr, DDS

Dr. Scherr received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan in 1985 in the field of Neuroscience and her DDS degree from the University of Michigan in 1990.
Dr. Scherr practices most aspects of dentistry, including endodontics, minor oral surgery (tooth extractions), crown and bridge work, dentures, and cosmetic dentistry, including porcelain veneers.
Dr. Scherr believes in giving back to the community. She provides dental services to patients through Faith in Action, a local organization that can help provided much needed dental care to those who need it most.
Dr. Scherr looks forward to meeting you as a new patient and discussing all of your dental concerns and needs. It is her utmost priority that you become fully educated about your dental needs, and that all of your questions are answered prior to commencing any treatment. Kok-heng Chong, DDS, MS, FACP

Dr. Chong has been practicing dentistry since graduating from the National University of Singapore Dental School in 1994. Since then, he obtained his DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy and was trained in Prosthodontics at Northwestern University Dental School. He was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Dental School for 2 years, Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Michigan Dental School for 4 years and is currently teaching part-time at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. He became a board certified Prosthodontist in 2004.
Dr. Chong is specialized in treating complex dental conditions by restoring and replacing missing teeth with partial dentures, complete dentures, fixed bridges or/and dental implants. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists and International College of Prosthodontists. His experience in the field of Prosthodontics enables him to manage difficult dentures, implants, crown and bridges with ease.

Benjamin Ahlbrecht, D.D.S.

Dr. Ahlbrecht received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in biology from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in 2005 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2010. A member of the American Dental Association, he is well trained in providing quality dental care in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, endodontics (root canals), oral surgery (tooth extractions), crown and bridge, dentures, and partial dentures. Dr. Ahlbrecht welcomes patients of all ages, and he is committed to providing high quality dental care in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Maintaining patient comfort at all times, he is dedicated to helping patients understand their dental needs and conditions.
When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Ahlbrecht enjoys spending time with family, traveling, fishing, and playing golf. He looks forward to meeting you as a new patient and providing the quality and comfortable dental care you deserve.

Allison Carey, D.D.S

Dr. Carey received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Michigan
in 2008. Dr. Carey also has a Master's of Public Health with an
emphasis on Human Nutrition from the University of Michigan. She is a
member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General
Dentistry, and Academy of Osseointegration.
She has been practicing general dentistry since 2008 with experience
in all dental disciplines, primarily restorative (including crown and
bridge), oral surgery (simple and surgical extractions), routine
endodontics, and pediatrics. Her dental experience includes private
practice, a community health clinic in Grand Rapids, an externship
with the Indian Health Services in New Mexico, and the University of
Michigan Summer Dental Migrant Program in Traverse City. She is
proficient in Spanish and can communicate effectively with
Spanish-speaking patients about oral health and related dental issues.
She is a strong believer in the promotion of oral health and
prevention of oral disease through patient education. Dr. Carey
welcomes patients of all ages. She looks forward to meeting you and

I have been in different aspects of the dental field since 1982. I have assisted in Endodontics, Oral Surgery and General Dentistry offices. I now work at the front desk as the Insurance & Billing Coordinator. I am married with 2 daughters, 12 and 14. I enjoy building relationships with my co-workers and patients, as well as being part of Chelsea and the surrounding community.

Hello, my name is Ann Foglesong. I am married with 2 children. I recently relocated to Lake LeAnne/ Jerome area in 2010. I am a registered dental hygienist with over 20 years experience. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State Lima. I also hold a license in medical massage therapy, specializing in TMJ (jaw dysfunction), headache and carpal tunnel treatment. I have recently completed course work for licensure in local anesthesia. I am most proud of the education I have offered over the years that helped patients overcome their fears of dentistry. I want all my patients to like their smiles and to understand the connection between their oral health and their overall health.
